This is so true. I didn't know it for myself until I had a friend come with me, and her experience of the session was entirely different and non-sinister. It was all my own state of mind at the time that gave me a different experience and memory of it. I wouldn't have known, though, if she hadn't gone with me and had the guts/kindness to clear things up.
