I wonder about ppl like me who have the horrific details already...when that "shock/fear factor" is no longer in place, if it might not be *as* re-traumatizing...which I've heard is the key...not to re-traumatize. In my case, I have the information, but not the "experience".

Yes, I read about the safe place and how it's mandatory to establish.
