Years ago I spent a Christmas in the hospital. It wasn't too bad. The staff tried to cheer us up and even gave us gifts. I stayed there for nearly four weeks.
It has been years since my last hospitalization. I always seem to avoid it even when I need it. Last winter I should have gone but I lied about my symptoms.
