Often times, when people who do not understand me begin speaking to me, because they do not understand, they think it is okay to be mean, simply because I have a different understanding than they do. I am as much of a person as anyone. Simply because my mind is different, others think that it is okay to say things, possible things which they would not say to someone they understand.

I am aware that this is due to ignorance. However , there are many vast differences in people. So why, are differences similar to mine the most difficult for people to accept? They can accept many different behaviors and personalities, yet some things are simply unacceptable to them, and they cannot simply be kind.

I do not understand certain people either, but I am not mean to them because of it. What is the logic to ignorance, and why is it so difficult to accept those who think differently than you?
