I think of my therapist and my pdoc as my mental health caregivers. I've never used the "caregiver/cared-for" phrase though (never have seen it actually). I'm not sure I like the "cared-for" part that much; I take an active role in my mental health, so "cared-for" seems like a bit of a helpless label to me. But I don't mind the caregiver title being given to T and pdoc. Seems natural to me.
