I don't understand why being different from other people is always shunned and shamed by the human populace. I guess it does go back to the times when being different meant the difference between life and death, when we were mere hunter gatherers. But wasn't it also being different that propelled human society to have ingenuity and ideas that fueled our growth?
In fact, it's the very idea of being unique and different that made Albert Einstein so incredibly intelligent and intuitive in his discoveries. He was said to be able to, quite literally, visualize ideas in his mind's eye (Such as what it would be like to ride on a beam of light that sped across the Universe) with such clarity that he could understand them more adeptly than anyone before him.
But he didn't go through life being this way without his fair share of people treating him differently or special. His childhood was often difficult as he had trouble focusing on his schoolwork because his mind didn't work in the way that was taught in schools. He would often be described as day dreaming instead of adeptly listening. As a result, his grades suffered and his teachers would often suggest that he was mentally handicapped or challenged. There was even talk of institutionalizing him.
But, he turned into one of the brightest minds of the 20th century, and his work is still being examined today, to figure out how he came to figure out seemingly impossible formulas and such.
I wouldn't worry about it, to be honest, because who knows, you could be the next Albert Einstein someday.
