Now that I recognize I'm a spiritual person without having to sacrifice my atheism, I can explore this more.

Maybe this explains why i am moved when I see the stars.

I don't believe in an afterlife, but I do believe we are all connected. I sort of believe in reincarnation, but not literally. I don't believe we have souls. I believe energy transfers and cycling of matter connects us all.

I don't believe the universe is conscious, but I do agree it is wonderful.
