Maybe you need to have a good purge. When I get that way, I wake my husband up at 2:30 AM, and then pretend like nothing's wrong until he finally gets me to respond, which usually is in the form of inexplicable tears, and then I weep uncontrollably until 4:30 AM; and I usually feel much better (and my Husband is exhausted all day at work).
You could give that a whirl.
