My therapist told me that I should stop focusing on why other people do, think or feel whatever is that they do, think or feel. She said most of it is something I will never know the answer and some of it doesn't even matter why they do what they do. All I can focus on is what I do and that is it. They do whatever they do (bizarre stuff I shared) because they are unhealthy and have issues and are unwilling to work on them, it is not reflection on me and I should focus on myself. Now it all sounds good, I struggle with it but I agree with her, that is all we can do, focus on our own actions thoughts and feelings.
