I hear your pain and frustration. I really hate society, I really do. It teaches us so many wrong things. It teaches woman that they have to fit into a very small dress size and if they don't then they are not normal. I say this because what you are going through is the same principal. Society and upbringing has taught you that you must be successful in your career and you must be able to be a ladies man. This is all bull****. (sorry but it is the word that came to my mind)

Success comes from inside. Beauty and relationships are about what is inside a person. It isn't about getting the pretty girl. It is about getting the beautiful girl (the one who is beautiful inside). Not all women are looking for money. Steer clear of the ones that are. You sound like a practical person who has a lot to offer someone. I only hope that she is lucky enough to find you. Look inside yourself and ask are my intentions good?? If so then you are far beyond that other man and you are far beyond many others. Love yourself.
