here, in hungary we have high entrace points for the popular faculties such as psychology and economy, also for pure art faculties such as on academy of art and academy of music....
the philosophy/art bachelors (BA) are usually medicore..... (expect for the really popular ones) and the science faculties are the easier to get in - obviously..... if you attend mathematics and you are not enough, you'll flunk fast....

I guess history is mainly on philosophy.... soooo that's all I can say. search for what school are you interested in and check their entrance options.... consider things such as fee and what language the majority of the lectures are ect (I was searching for full english chemistry Bsc and they're not as common as it sounds - but if you speak german or french you are good!)
ahhh i see. i was looking into england and it's like??? difficult

but i'll look into the schools, see what's going on there, might send an email or two.
