I have written these types of things to myself in journals. I don't keep a journal anymore, but in the past when I would come out of a depression I would write to myself how good life is, and to never give up, and how good everything is- then I would read that stuff after the fact when I was depressed and it never helped. I always thought why did I write such b*ll**it?!
Anyway- I still think writing these kind of things is a good idea. I have writen to my depression before and when I was younger I wrote poems to my anorexia a lot
