your talking about super hearing
like hearing the hum of electrical items ........u know those plug in pest scare away things ......or those things on the cars to scare deer away when u drive ....hear the train that is a good 5 miles away ....or the highway that is 3 miles ...drag strap that was 10 miles away
able to hear sirens several blocks/miles away before other ppl...or ticking of a watch from a few feet away
that is a side effect of the wiring in the head some of have it others do not it can be really madding when u are trying to sleep ......i thought u were talking about sounds that trigger responses in u can not control all that well
the answer to the super hearing is white noise .........i use a fan or air filter have it in the room running when u sleep u will get use to it after a few nights but it will help block those other sounds .......it will work for most things except diesel trucks warming up for 20 mins less then 20 feet from head and birds at the window
