You might remember my post about getting a nasty anonymous email from a website that allows you to say only obnoxious, negative things without having to own them.
Well, a week after the first one, I got another one from that site. It was even more specific and hateful than the first one. I finally had the sense to block the address.
That was about a week ago. Today, I got one from "anonymousfeedback.net," another one of those sites -- AT WORK.
I've put our IT guys on it, because I have had it with this crap. But it serves as a good lesson in the utility of talking directly to the person you have a problem with. I believe this stuff is coming from my officemate, which is about to send me over the edge - we're the only 2 in this office and it's making showing up for work a total bite. But I know he talks about me behind my back (I have written proof of that). If he would just say what he had to say to me TO ME, life would be a lot easier. I have trouble with confrontations, but one is brewing because he's such a weasel.
Anyway, beware of these sites! The other one was secretmessage.com. I never knew these things existed, much less that there was more than one of them.
It's too bad there isn't an ignore button IRL.
