I had a dream I was a graduation reception held for my graduating class in college outside at night. I felt anxious and depressed since I was graduating and did not know what would happen next. Also I felt constantly ignored by everyone and really had no friends there. While I was there I realized my wallet was missing and asked a chaperon whether or not he had seen it. Just at that moment a loud low pitched siren began to sound, combined with a three beep high pitched continuous alarm, similar to a school fire alarm. The guy I was talking to pointed to the sky and said a funnel cloud was forming which could quickly turn into a tornado, which it did. It was a small thin one, probably an F1 but still dangerous and scary and was headed right for us. I tried to alert everyone to the danger but no one seemed to care. Eventually I started running to a nearby building as the tornado rapidly approached. I realized that everyone I had left behind didn't seem to care about what was happening and did not make any attempts to run away. But as I got closer to the building, I noticed another large group of people from a different function running for their lives towards the building. I looked at the tornado a couple more times and saw it was really close at this point, less than a minute left and I figured I had enough time to just make it inside the building. The siren and alarm kept blaring. I was worried and confused at why no one from the reception made a run for it but was glad that there were other people taking cover. The dream ended with the siren and alarm still going, I was just feet from the building and saw the tornado was less than 30 seconds from impact with the building. Then it ended. I would assume this dream has to do with my anxieties about graduating since I really am anxious.
