Macy, I am sorry you are so depressed. I am glad you came to Psych Central. Dying is not an option that I would consider. Getting help is.

There are times where our old happiness has set and our new happiness has not risen. They call it the "dark night of the soul". It isn't easy but with help we get through that with help.

Having a psychiatrist prescribe meds to stabilize the moods can be helpful. A therapist can help get to the root causes of our dilemma.

If you have not been eating healthy food, try to have some soup or yogurt or something to help your brain get enough protein so it gets out of panic mode.http://blogs.psychcentral.com/channe...-safety-plans/

Anyone in your situation should also have a safety plan.
