No it seems non-confrontational and should a disagreement arise, oops my battery must've gone dead!
Since I'm possibly the most passive aggressive person on the planet, I would more than likely pack her rattiest play clothes for an overnight, then make a few sarcastic comments about the state of her clothes in comparison to the state of my bank account, which has more holes, etc. Oh, and always throw in a comment about how nice his clothes look and how it must be nice to shop whenever the urge strikes and not have to wait for a windfall.
How embarrassing to admit! That being direct was too scary so I would choose to talk to people that way instead. (One of many things I'm working on with T.)
