If it happens again for the fickering lights, I would suggest taking Excedrin instead of just aspirin, which is what the doc recommended OTC. Excedrin or the generic migraine formula (acetaminophen/ aspirin/ caffeine) can help with ocular migraines as well as sinus migraines.
