I had never heard of it. I just looked it up. If what that article said is true than that would be the biggest breakthrough in addiction treatment ever.

The only treatments I know of are sub and methadone which is like the lesser of evils thing. Sub withdrawal is worse that all the others.

I do know ex heroine addicts in AA who have long term sobriety and never took sub or methadone. A number of them in fact. They somehow did it and have stayed sober. However the highest relapse rates in AA and NA are opiate addicts. Even after three years sober many of them go back.

Klonopin .5mg twice a day, cutting this back
