This sounds so positive, pinksoil. That is great to love your chosen career. How interesting that you are getting better at drawing the line. Does this mean setting your boundaries as a T?
The music therapy groups sound very interesting. I would like to hear more about them sometime. My therapist used music once in my session, and it was very evocative. He played a lullaby when we were doing EMDR and whoa, took me right back to being an infant! My 13 year old daughter's counselor is an art therapist, so I am interested in this too. Sometimes they draw a picture together. Or sometimes my daughter brings in poems she has written. (But mostly they just talk.) Both my daughter's T and my T also do psychodrama and each have psychodrama groups. I think there is a lot of really creative stuff going on out there in the therapy world.
