@ newtus - where meds aren't working & the side effects are bad then it's understandable you should turn elsewhere for coping strategies. That's not to say people on meds shouldn't though, meds are only part of the picture.
How many different meds have you tried out of interest?

wow. tons. ive tried every typical antipsychotic except clorazil (i think thats a typical? idk). ive tried all atypical APs. ive been on 4-5 antidepressants including Prozac. ive been on an ADD/ADHD med. ive been lithium. ive been on all the major prescribed Anti-anxiety meds like klonopin and xanax and buspar and ativan.
