Here in Ireland it is recommended to only see three to four clients a day so that's about 20 a week. My t works privately from home and in a community development place and has started shadowing to become a trainer this year. She is quite busy but I know if i ever needed her she would be there and has been in the past..even given up her day off to see me in a crisis and only charged me half her fee.
I wouldn't see a t who had more than 20 clients as I wouldn't feel they could support me or any of their other clients with that caseload. I am not judging here its my only personal opinion.. I guess I wouldn't want to share her too much
