I use the best sunblock plus long sleeves and pants and a ballcap. After about 90 minutes of unprotected exposure to light in the short blue to long UV range I get symptoms similar to the flue: Fever, chills, cramps, etc.... That is, assuming a good amount of skin, say both arms and my face, receive the exposure. This is called phototoxicity. I also have photophobia, which is the same thing, but in the eyes. I get a sunburn on my eyeballs after only a few minutes of unprotected exposure.
Flourescents do the same thing as their makers add chemicals to increase the amount of blue light coming from flourescent lights.
The Seroquel, in the winter, works fantastic. I get a good eight hours of sleep and wake refreshed. It's the summer which is the problem. I'm going on FAR FAR too little sleep.
