Do you know anyone else you can trust you? Family, other friends, relatives, internet pals (just in case you don't feel comfortable with a therapist yet)? You can also talk to any other them about your self-esteem issues as well because getting confidence from the right person(s) will help boost your mental health.

Thanks for your reply, I'm too much of a coward to even harm myself so no need to worry about that. I am having a serious issue with trusting anybody I don't feel I can and it is the worst feeling in the world when you're surrounded by a society where you see friendships and love all around you. So far I've found even discussing body self esteem issues with friends to be a waste of time, my issues are deemed valid because they see me as "skinny" and therefore I should shut up. No idea where to head to next.
