Two things here... these people have your best interest at heart. Please don't try to hide things from them, they won't be able to help you to the best of their ability if you do so.

Aside from that, I think it may be extremely unethical for them to be discussing you amongst themselves, a violation of privacy. I'm not really sure how the ethical code stands on that since they are both doctors in the same field. But I know that the release that you sign to allow others to know about any aspects of your mental illness INCLUDES having to give explicit permission to your medical doctor (at least it does in New Jersey).

I think you may have said at some point back that you gave them permission to talk to each other or something. I don't think it is a bad thing for them to be talking together and sharing information that might help you. But whether or not they do share should be under your control.

But I notice you said "I gather" so maybe this didn't happen at all. Maybe with all the stress and depression it is making you more suspicious, which is normal, and part of the negativity of depression.

Anyway good luck with it, please try not to worry about it and remember that these people want to help you. I am so happy that in spite of all the difficulties you are having you are still seeing your therapist and considering it a priority to get the help you need and do as much as you can do, which I know must be so difficult.
