When I was in my late teens early twenties - I had a very close friend. She was one of the only people in my life who really really showed me she cared. We enjoyed a great friendship - give and take on both sides. At one point I was very very depressed... she could not help - she told me with, great pain - that she could not help me - this was bigger than she could handle. I'm thinking, "I am so screwed up even the one person that loves me the most cannot handle it"......that is when I set my first appointment with a mental health therapist. It's been a long journey - but things are better.
