I know how it seems so unfair. But you do have options.

Hi, you usually can take your medication bottle to the pharmacy that filled it and they will sell you a small number of pills in an emergency. It is more economical if you can call the facility and tell them you need them to submit an emergency prescription request after you explain the emergency.

Keeping a 1-2 week emergency backup at home if possible can avert future stress.
