Nice to meet you and make your acquantince

Im Katie, Im 28 and live in Wisconsin and have Rapid Cycling Bipolar 1 Disorder, and some OCD. Im also a recovering drug addict of 4 years, recovering self harmer of 6 years and a recovering alcoholic of 6 years. I was in a group home/communtiy support system for 7 years and just got out a month ago.Im on SSD for my disorders. I dont have any kids at all. just me.

My moods have been better which is good. They haven't been as bad as last week at least. With my moods I can rapid cycle anywhere from 2 days to multiple times in a day.I hear voices too with mine sometimes too which is scary. Im on Lithium, Loxipane, Lamictal, a small dose of Lexapro and Seroquel. All of which really do a good job of zonking me out at night. I don't enjoy it too much since I used to be a night person but its something I have to do I guess. If I want to maintain my sanity that is.

Me? I like to be on the web a lot of the time. Thats been a steady hobby of mine. I also like to design and revise forum signatures for people. I like to read when my concentration allows me to as well. I write some poetry and do fill in puzzles once in awhile. Im working on my web site too. Its a BP and Schizophrenia one. My partner is both schizophrenic and bipolar as well. We like to spend a lot of time together and do fun things when circumstances allow for us to do so. We've been together for 7 years with no fight amazingly enough and we always support each other.

That's great that you had surgery and can get out. Sorry it still hurts you though. I hope that you had a good weekend out at the lake too. Again nice to meet you and looking forward to getting to know you.
