Has anyone had to get a passport after you transitioned? Just to throw in a monkey wrench, anyone out there who was adopted, transitioned and then had to get a passport?

I've tried contacting people from sites that take applications for passports, and they say they don't know how I should go about it.

I'd appreciate any help.
