I don't want to be a bore but before I go into light hearted and somewhat comedic small talk, I must act on the urge to give you a quick heads up because it would be irresponsible for me not to: Lamotrigine can cause serious conditions such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome when a dose is rapidly decreased and increased again to a similar level. Missed doses can also cause a similar effect if dosage is resumed after at the same dose.
As most psychiatric medications contain a warning about tapering down or stopping meds, it might seem like a bit of an overly cautious thing to say. However, with Lamotrigine, this threat can be very real. It's definitely not a med to screw with :P
Moving on, I totally get that! I still have small stockpiles of medication I don't even take anymore. Mostly it's from me stopping meds and carrying on putting the prescription for them because the list was long and I didn't care for sifting through it to pick and choose which ones I wanted
