Hi guys,

I`m from holland and found this site, because there is no forum like this one in holland.

I`m 30 years old and bipolair 1, my psych told me last week, from my earlt twenties I had mood swings, I could be extreme confident, fast talking, egocentric, creative etc for months, everytime after those periods I would get depressed with social anxiety, and also that would take monts.

All of this has happened like 4 times, so the mania and the depression.

At the moment i`m still depressed and anxious, what began 7 months ago, i`m on 40mg celexa. I live with my mom now, i`m just afraid to go outside and go to friends etc. And I sleep everyday from 02:00 till 16:00, cos my days/feelings are unworthly.

Next week my psych will put me on lithium, or dekapote and another anti depressant effexor maybe.

My question is, has anybody out here had the long periods of depression like me? And shoul i be normal again?
