sorry, i don't buy it.
we're humans first, artists or whatever second.
this is not a normal relationship and only sounds like it will get stranger, not more stable.
people in relationships need to give and receive human contact...it's not a quality that can be turned on and off at will (unless he's off in the military and that's upfront and understood). otherwise, it's too stressful and full of anxiety.
