I'm Ashty, I just turned 23. I'm in the process of finishing a degree in music composition, I hand in my last piece of work on Wednesday! (so excited, and terrified about what I'll do with myself after that..). I was diagnosed bipolar ii when I was 19, but I wasn't too sure I fully believed the psychiatrist I was seeing, and I moved around a lot so I managed to go fully into denial about it all. It was only this last year where I've not been on any medication (and done some interesting things, shall we say!) that I'm starting to think that maybe it is true. I joined this site recently to find some support and insight, and I love it here, everyone is so friendly!

I write music, and just started making short films... found a camera in my new flat so I have adopted it and had lots of fun!!
