Well, I have my own sex / gender-related issues. I won't go into them here. But I do the same sort of thing you're doing. I avoid, as much as possible, things that I think are likely to trigger me. I have a YouTube channel. And I subscribe to lots of other YouTubers' channels. But if any of them start to upload videos with highly sexualized content, I drop my subscription to that channel.

For me, this is a fairly easy circumstance to accommodate. In your case, it sounds from what you wrote that it is a much more troublesome situation. Generally problems such as this are dealt with via a program of gradually increasing exposure to the troublesome stimulus. I don't know that this is something you can really do for yourself, though. You need to find a therapist, or a program, that provides this kind of therapy services. Otherwise, the types of strategies people who have panic attacks use, may be of help to you.
