Yuppers. My T does, but he's good at paying attention to me like 95% of the time, and just a little bit to taking notes. It's almost never disruptive... when it is, it's because I say something - and he starts to scribble. Then I make a face, and wonder what the heck was noteworthy about *that*!? Then, if he doesn't respond to my face

, and if I'm really curious, I might say... "hmmm whatcha' writing?"
Last session it was just a quick note about something from my childhood, nothing bad, but apparently he wanted to remember it. And, frankly, he has a pretty awful memory - so I don't mind the notes at all.
Previous Ts mostly all took notes, as far as I remember. One that I only saw for 3 sessions paid more attention to his notes than to me, I felt like I had to stop talking and wait for him to catch up. That was not good. I didn't click with him, and am glad I got out of there!
