I had previously wondered about siezures but she doesn't experience any real change in consciousness or have movement. She just described it to me as a building pressure when she feels she cannot block out all the social stimuli around her.
She has come off medication but this is something that has occured regardless of her medication status.
I guess its just worrying that she has what she feels as very real and physical as a result of social stimuli and the expectations to respond to them.
Angelique67, does it still sound like you? If so, do you have any wisdom to impart in regards to how to stop it or cope when it is triggered? We have a busy household it i hate that she just has to cope with everyday things.

Yes, it does. When I've felt that way, I go outside or to another room to try to gather myself. Is she able to leave the room or is she sort of frozen in place? I get very anxious when this happens, too.
