Aww I'm sorry you're going through that, I can really relate.
It helps to change the negative thoughts into positive ones. We are really at the mercy of our thoughts sometimes but luckily they can be changed.
You need to find reasons to look forward to what you're about to do. As humans, if we don't want to do something, we will have an uphill battle trying to do it no matter what it is. We are motivated creatures, we run away from things we dislike (for survival) and we run towards things we do like (for survival).
You can actually look forward to meeting that dog that you're going to groom, and just focus on that and nothing else. Every time a negative thought enters your mind, replace it with a positive thought that you can look forward to. When an insecure thought comes up, replace it with the thought that you are doing a service for others who need it. Flip every thought you have around until it makes you feel better, because negative thoughts aren't more true than positive thoughts. Both thoughts are true, it depends on how you want to feel, and which thoughts feel better to you.
