Can be many things.

How well are you sleeping at the moment? Lack of sleep can make us dream while we are awake. If you don't get enough REM sleep then the brain will do it when it can, especially if you are run down, stressed or tired.

Having hallucinations does not mean you are schizophrenic, it can be due to extreme anxiety, stress, part of depression or part of bipolar. It sounds like you were stressed after work.

Sometimes hearing voices can be a flashback - part of PTSD, where the mind will playback previous traumatic experiences. This can be very distressing.

Please go and see your doctor if it continues.
