Weight loss or gain is a side effect of Wellbutrin.

I don't know how much weight you are gaining but it can happen. I was on Zyprexa and it made me hungry 24/7 - ate until I was physically ill and still hungry. Finally told the doctors and they took meoff of it but not before I'd gained 20 lbs in one monnth. Was on Seroquel for a long time and gained weight, I didn't realize it until I was off the Seroquel but there was this low level need to eat sweets all the time. It was like a subliminal message, if I went to the store I got chocolate. I couldn't not get a candy bar or buy something sweet. It was always there. When I went off of it I gradually noticed that sometimes I'd think "I'll get a Mars bar today" when I was out and then get home and realize I'd never bought it.

I finally kind of stopped gaining weight and I've only recently (after being off Seroquel for 2 years) started losing weight.

I'm obese, I'll admit that and it does a number on my self image. But I'm fairly healthy -blood sugar is fine, cholesterol is fantastic, blood pressure has always been low. I'd probably fail a test for physical fitness, but I know people who are 80 lbs lighter than I am who couldn't pass a physical fitness test and who are dealing with cholesterol issue or high blood pressure.

You want to be careful about restricting your calories too much, especially if you are exercising. If you don't eat enough you're body can interpret that as starvation and start basically start hording calories which causes weight gain.
Thanks for this!
