You are right, it won't be easy to get out of your comfort zone and into the world. But no one said you have to do it all at once. You can take baby steps along the way.
Maybe you can write down what you want to accomplish. After you have your list, decide what you think would be the easiest one to start with and make a plan on how you will go about tackling that goal. Many times when we can visualize how we will do something that scares us, there is comfort in that plan so it's not as stressful. Once you have succeeded at one goal, then go to work on the next one. Every time you work on these goals you will become more and more comfortable with yourself and your abilities.
