I am glad to hear that you are seeing a psychologist, albeit that you do not think it's really helping and don't believe the opinion, there could be subtle strategies that you may have been using for the stress and anxiety.
It will be interesting when your blood tests come back.
I am thinking that at this stage you would be involved with a doctor if blood tests were ordered.
From here, your doctor will be able to refer you to the most appropriate medical practitioner, be it a psychiatrist or neurologist or whomever your doctor feels would be most appropriate to your care.
