I've had had manic periods, where I was on top of the world; my thoughts were racing, I couldn't concentrate on anything and once I descended into rage. Only had psychosis once when real manic. And I had psychosis during all the other moods like mad or flat.

Of course it a funny thing, I may not be Bipolar, but Schizoaffective. However, that's my problem not yours. And mania is also a funny thing. There is no shame in having mania. I have it, and I'm just like anyone else.
