Dear all,

For a while now, I have been on anti-depressants and ADD with some success. I was able to get stabilized again after experiencing a major mental break down with the aid of these medications.

I have noticed that my medications are not as effective anymore. I do not drink or use any drugs. I feel sick in the morning and I have noticed if I take antidepressants now, that I have nightmares.

Is this typical? Do people with a history of mental health issues need to change medications up every 3 years because they the medications are not effective?

I am trying to get an appointment with psychiatrist but I also want input from other people who may have gone through things similar to me.

Thank you for reading and any input you guys may have.
