Then again, i say if you dont have transportation, you gotta have information - like to know when the next bus is coming.
Libraries aren't open 24/7 and I sporadically use the internet all day off and on, even late hours of the night/early morning...also I depend on it for music streaming since the radio is largely crap IDK I use it to the extent the library would not be effective. Luckily I do not plan on having t.v or home phone service so could probably budget for internet...as for my phone its $40 a month if I want unlimited text/talk/data I can just get unlimited text/talk for like $30 if need be if I am a bit short on money some months. But yeah since i do rely on public transport and walking I at least need home internet also to check the weather especially in the winter so if its supposed to get very cold I make sure and dress warm enough or bring warmer clothes if its mild than but I plan to be gone a while.

Also I imagine if I started paying internet, I'd also get a bit more in food stamps since they determine the amount somewhat based on expenses. Of course not very close to moving anywhere just yet so I will have lots of time to think about it and plan for it .
