I've learned a visualization where I change the thought into a piece of paper with the thought on it and then I visualize burning it completely. I think often of bad things happening, so I put them on a movie film (ok, a little old fashioned) then I visualize pouring water over it until it disolves completely. With practice I am able to do them pretty quickly anywhere I find myself. Maybe thes might help.
