really makes me suspicious in two ways.
One way is...are the pharmaceutical companies taking over?

I think maybe it's a wake up call that mental illness is very real and needs to be seriously looked into by Govn't, Psychiatry Community, Pharmaceuticals (especially with all of the shootings that have taken place in the U.S. over the past few years). I know that bipolar disorder research is currently getting wider and wider - studies are getting broader and covering larger test study populations, etc. and coming up with newer data/findings. I've been on SSDI since 2004 (and previously 1993-1996).

Second way....are we all really being badly treated by our parents or are the bad genes from our forefathers affecting all of us??

I bet these results might say something about technology invading our lives and being bombarded with too much information 24/7. We live so differently than we lived 100 or 200 yrs ago. Very rapid pace of life is bound to take some casualties, imo. (ie. I could not understand the computerized parking kiosk instructions in Philadelphia on Monday when I went to see my psychiatrist and I have an engineering degree!) We are turning into robots, imo.
I thought this article would be interesting for those on SSDI, applying for SSDI or those with family members on SSDI.
