you can start a thread about this is the self injury boards and ask that a moderator "pin" your post to the top of that board. I have noticed this is how many of the boards end up with those posts stuck at the top of the boards for easy access and noticeability.
you can also start a social group. once your social group becomes active with so many members it is turned into a forum board of its own (thats where all the social group boards at the bottom of the index page comes from)
