Hope you all find something soon. I tried not to mind the "not a good match" comment, figured I was wasted on them :-) Think of a plan that encompasses doing things you want to do while you're not working. I always had trouble starting/quitting jobs so did 10 years of seasonal and part-time temp jobs I set up for myself just for the purpose of starting/quitting so I could work on those fears for myself. I took a few courses through the years too so I could explain "breaks" in my employment record as times I was working on my own projects/going to school, etc. I always tried to get and keep an independent job or two, no matter how small, so I could say I was "self-employed" or an "independent contractor" (even though I didn't make enough money that way). Made it look like I was self-starting and ambitious and had a clue what I was doing :-) Not a lie but a perception thing. I tried to take work out of the "center" of my life and make my life just contain work but with me in charge.
