The sleeping thing may be related to depression. I've had problems in the past (and still struggle with them actually) with sleeping my life away. Especially when I'm feeling depressed, it's like all I want to do is sleep. I'll end up hitting the snooze over and over again, until after an hour or so the alarm just quits going off.

I was the worst just after high school. I'd sleep in till 2 pm, then get up and eat and watch tv, then go back to sleep again at 11 pm or 12 midnight, and the cycle would start all over.

It's hard to stay motivated to be active and not just sleep the day away. Keep your chin up - hopefully we'll both find something that works for us.
