Don't have time to watch the video right now, but I have not found psychiatric care at all retraumatizing in my personal experience. I've never had treatment forced on me or coerced in any way. My psychiatrist has always been highly respectful of my input and has worked with me for treatment that met my needs. I'm sure it can be retraumatizing for some though.
